Medical Sociology
Medical Sociology investigates how culture and society impact on human health. It covers the study of health organizations, patient-doctor relationships, and includes physical and mental health conditions. Medical Sociologists are interested in where there are disparities in prevalence or outcome of a disease due to race, class, or other social issues.
