Analytical Chemistry

At the core of science is a deep desire to find out more about our immediate surroundings, and analytical chemists go a long way towards helping us do just that. The presence of just a few atoms can sometimes be detected by super-sensitive spectroscopy machines used to characterize new compounds and analyse the composition of any sample, CSI style.
